What is #DevFest and its mission?

DevFest Ashgabat'23 is not just the first tech conference in Turkmenistan, but most important this event with a specific mission for All. This year, DevFest 2023 inspires local developers to learn and connect as a community by exploring how to use Google technology to accelerate economic impact. In light of COVID-19, the global economy has shrunk and millions of jobs have been lost. Developers are the backbone of technology, and they play a pivotal role in the recovery of the global economy. In fact, expanding the impact of developers has never been more important!

How can we attend the sessions?

Attendees are welcome for online and in-person sessions, workshops which will be run in parallel with Googlers (virtual speakers) and everyone can choose which one to join based on their interest. Let's start making the difference we can see by bringing developers and the local community together using Tech for Good! Are you ready for the First ever conference in Turkmenistan on topics of AR/VR, IoT, ML, Cloud, Kotlin, Cybersecurity, Flutter, Firebase, Blockchain, Big Data, Google Earth, Android, and other technologies? GDG Ashgabat is welcoming techies to attend two days event including in-person and online sessions. Luckily, DevFest is the perfect opportunity for Google Developer Groups (GDG) to show up for developers and their communities during such a challenging time. GDG stands for Google Developer Groups and GDG Ashgabat is an initiative to concentrate the efforts of many developers in and around Ashgabat to provide a network for people who are interested in Google's open-source technologies and also love the spirit of sharing in the field of technology. The purpose of the meeting is for developers to share knowledge and expertise in technology. From beginner developers to experienced professionals - all are welcome to join.
